Hepta and Collaboration
As a design firm, HEPTA believes in creative collaboration. We believe that the best architecture can be achieved through a process of intensive, ongoing dialogue, collaboration, analysis, and application of instinct and insight. We also believe that the collaborative efforts of a varied group of designers and architects would be far more effective than those of any one individual.
Since its founding, Hepta has collaborated with a number of architects. From 1996 to 1998, Hepta was joining forces with Rekamatra Architect in hospitality, housing and commercial project on Batam Island. This partnership was a valuable opportunity for Hepta since Hepta can exercises on numerous built projects.
Our most rigorous and fruitful partnership is our alliance with Baskoro Tedjo. Since 2002, Baskoro Tedjo, a senior lecturer in Department Architecture of Bandung Institute of Technology, who recently came from his doctoral study in Japan, has decided to come aboard. Until now, He has been working together with Hepta team of architects on several projects and design competition.
MORE ABOUT ASSOCIATION OF HEPTA AND BASKORO TEDJOOur first project together was Retreat Facilities in Pandaan. It was followed by two other commissions in the next year, Government Office in Siak Sri Indrapura Regency and Correan Community Center in Surabaya.
Collaborating with other architect or other firm will bring different perspectives and skills to the table. It’s a group of architects combining their talents rather than a group of person who have grown up working together.
